Mindfulness has become a buzzword, but really it’s a profound practice that can help so many women in all different periods in their life. Especially in trying times for Klal Yisrael, like the past few weeks have been.
But what does it really mean?
In this interview, I talk to Dr. Aliza Ancier who specializes in helping women navigate their motherhood journey. She has a doctorate in physical therapy specializing in postpartum recovery and women's health. She started practicing mindfulness after struggling to connect back to herself while also caring for her family. After recognizing a similar need in the greater population, she trained in teaching mindfulness to help mothers feel more connected and peaceful in motherhood. She approaches her mindfulness teaching from an evidence-based and practical approach and is currently completing advanced training in trauma-sensitive mindfulness.
